ARTIST OF THE MONTH
ANDREE LEBOURVEAU
Andree LeBourveau was born and raised in Santa Cruz, California. She has been a print maker for the past 14 years mainly in the medium of serigraphs also known as screen printing. Recently she has started a series on local imagery from our county such as: the lighthouse at Steamer Lane, the surfer statue, sand dunes and now she is working on surf imagery - surfboards leaning against a fence, classic woody cars with surfboards on top and sticking out the back, and a woman surfing to name a few. The contrasts in shadow and color are quite striking in Ms. Lebourveau’s renderings of these Santa Cruz inspired images.
Andree’s latest collection can be seen at Paradise Surf Shop throughout the month of August. Framed and unframed prints will be available for purchase as well as notecards.
