Biarritz Roxy Jam July 2nd - July 9th 2006 - ASP Women's Longboard World Championships
After organizing a leg of the women's World Championship Tour for two years running (in Anglet in 2004 and Perranporth, England in 2005), Roxy and Biarritz are set to join forces and create an event of outstanding quality. Scheduled between July 2nd and July 9th 2006 at the Côte des Basques, the Biarritz Roxy Jam will bring together the best female longboarders in the world for the Women's Longboard World Championships, sanctioned by the ASP. Young, up-and-coming talents will also get a chance to show off their skills in the Teenie Wahine, a surf contest organized for under-15 year olds from all over the world. Not only the perfect opportunity to appreciate surf culture and the talented women surfers present at the event, the Biarritz Roxy Jam will also provide art and music enthusiasts with an ideal chance to come together. Conceived as more of a festival than an event, the Biarritz Roxy Jam aims to offer an unprecedented number of interesting activities just waiting to be discovered.
