About Debi: Debi Parola spent her childhood & teenage summers in Santa Cruz. Her love of the beach & the small town atmosphere lead her to move here in 1977. She takes pictures to capture “A Slice of Life”. Her ocean sunsets are local Santa Cruz beaches & the beautiful Island of Maui. For the last 6 years her passion has been skimboarding photography. She travels to all the skim contests in California to capture this exciting sport. WOMEN ON WAVES LOOKING FOR NEW EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR - We are looking for a new leader to take over the Surf Fest. After 10 years of dedication to this event, Sally wants to retire as “The Voice of WOW”.  We need an enthusiastic, well organized surfing event planner to take on the job of Executive Director. The process is already nailed down – you just have to make it happen. Gain exposure for your business and score some major good karma points by putting on this well loved local surf event.
